Sanitary Facilities for an Elementary School

Bome Valley is an isolated community in one of the most under-developed divisions of the North West Region of Cameroon. This community has five primary schools and a secondary school whose infrastructure and toilet facilities are in a deplorable state. After recording three incidents of pupils falling in the toilet due to the poor state of the facilities at the GS Bome elementary school, the headteacher banned the use of the toilets.

Clean Water for Locals

We are providing our support to RICEP Korogocho to install a 10,000-litre water storage tank in the community of Baba Dogo in Nairobi to provide access to safe and clean drinking water for the residents. Almost all of the water in this community is provided by private vendors due to design limitations of the current supply system. Up to 60% of the population does not have water available within 50 meters of their home.
