No More Animal DIssection

We are very excited to announce that we are supporting Animals in Science Policy Institute in their effort to end animal dissection in high schools across British Columbia. This organization is working tirelessly to replace the use of animals in secondary education through the implementation of non-animal alternatives, and to shift the culture of science teaching towards one that encourages respect for animals. They provide advocacy toolkits for students, information workshops, guest classes and lesson plans for teachers, and have created a comprehensive database of alternatives to dissection in addition to working on a new prototype of virtual reality dissection. Their overall objective is to make the use of nonhuman animals in research, testing and teaching obsolete. Or simply: Better Science, Without Animals.
